Research Rules and Fees
Researchers are subject to the following rules and fees. Researchers must be age 16 and over. All research is done inside the H. Lee House Cultural Center, 3205 Olive Street, Treganza Heritage Park, Lemon Grove. Research arrangements are made by appointment only and may be booked with 14 days’ notice. Call (619) 460-4353 or email archives@lghistorical.org for an appointment.
Be prepared to leave an I. D. card, or driver’s license, or credit card with the archivist on duty. The latter will be returned to you at the close of the research period. No food or drink is permitted in the H. Lee House during the research session. You will be required to leave briefcases, large bags, backpacks, computers, etc., outside the research room. Only a pencil, note pad and a cell phone are allowed. You may not remove any item from the Lemon Grove Historical Society collections or the H. Lee House Cultural Center.
Arrangements can be made for an archivist to provide preliminary research information and email results and scans on a limited basis, see the LGHS Archivist research rates.
