Colonial Dames

The Lemon Grove Historical Society takes great pride in its record of achievement and awards in support of its mission to research, preserve and share the history of Lemon Grove, promote interest in the arts and humanities, preserve historic sites, and produce public programs that advance these goals.

Below is a list of our most important awards.

2020 Crown Colony Chapter of the National Society of Colonial Dames of the XVIIth Century for restoration and continuing preservation of the Parsonage Museum
2019 Save Our Heritage Organization (SOHO) Stewardship Award with Girl Scout Troop 6786 for the Buena Vista Pillar Project
2018 California State Assembly 79th District to Helen Ofield for community service in the arts
2014 Congress of History Ben Dixon Award for the Lemon Grove History Mural
