The LGHS presents its free lecture series HISTORY ALIVE February 4, 2026
Featuring the Music of Los Californios!
Please join us at the Lee House Cultural Center on February 5th at 7:00 pm to hear the music of San Diego based group Los Californios.
On February 5th at 7 pm, the San Diego based group,Los Californios will share their 3 decades of work, researching and interpreting the music of Spanish and Mexican Calfiornia, their primary focus: 19th Century Rancho Period. Working from primary sources, they endeavor to recreate the sounds of serenade and fandango from the days before California Statehood.
History Alive is a free Lecture Series presented by the Lemon Grove Historical Society. Lectures are held at the H. Lee House Cultural Center on the 1st Thursday of the month. H. Lee House is located at 3205 Olive St. in the Treganza Heritage Park where there is ample, well-lit parking. History Alive is suitable for ages 16 and over.
