The LGHS presents its free lecture series HISTORY ALIVE October 2, 2025 at 7:00 pm
Join us in welcoming Guy and Kindahl Hunter as they present: “The History of Hunter’s Nursery”
From the early years of helping develop Lemon Grove’s citrus industry to Betty Hunter working to reconstruct the Parsonage Museum, the Hunters have been essential to life and leisure in Lemon Grove. We see Kindahl every January donating her expertise to trimming the roses at Treganza Heritage Park, helping to bring more beauty to our town. Come hear the Hunters as they share stories past and present as the proprietors of one of the oldest businesses in Lemon Grove.
History Alive is a free Lecture Series presented by the Lemon Grove Historical Society. Lectures are held at the H. Lee House Cultural Center on the 1st Thursday of the month. H. Lee House is located at 3205 Olive St. in the Treganza Heritage Park where there is ample, well-lit parking. History Alive is suitable for ages 16 and over.
