Featuring Alyssa Navapanich Presenting: “Arts Education in Lemon Grove”
Please join us at the Lee House Cultural Center on November 6 at 7:00 pm to hear Alyssa Navapanich share her experiences in Art Education at our Lemon Grove Schools
Come learn from Lemon Grove’s award-winning teacher! Alyssa Navapanich currently teaches art at four campuses in the Lemon Grove School District. Her advocacy for students has given them opportunities as panel speakers, art docents, and award winners at both local and state levels. Since 2014, she has volunteered with the California and National Arts Education Associations where she has shared classroom expertise at local, state and national conferences. She has helped locally with organizing, advertising, and installing student art shows and educational workshops and has received local, state and national awards in recognition for her contributions to arts education.
History Alive is a free Lecture Series presented by the Lemon Grove Historical Society. Lectures are held at the H. Lee House Cultural Center on the 1st Thursday of the month. H. Lee House is located at 3205 Olive St. in the Treganza Heritage Park where there is ample, well-lit parking. History Alive is suitable for ages 16 and over.
