On February 6th at 7 pm, Come hear from retired Sheriff Rusty Burkett, who worked in the Lemon Grove traffic division for most of the 1970s and 1980s, a time of tremendous change for our little city. Rusty donated many photos to the Lemon Grove Historical Society and now we will hear the stories to go along with them.
History Alive is a free Lecture Series presented by the Lemon Grove Historical Society. Lectures are held at the H. Lee House Cultural Center on the 1st Thursday of the month. H. Lee House is located at 3205 Olive St. in the Treganza Heritage Park where there is ample, well-lit parking. History Alive is suitable for ages 16 and over.
