LGHS Proudly Presents the 45th Season of HISTORY ALIVE Lecture Series
The Audience is the STAR!
Thursday 7:00 pm, November 2, 2023.
LGHS will open the doors of the Lee House Cultural Center at Treganza Heritage Park to celebrate the 45th year of our free lecture series HISTORY ALIVE
On November 2nd, “The Audience is the STAR!” You’ll hear from LGHS members with long memories of local holiday events and anecdotes, some of them hilarious. In three-to-five-minutes, each speaker will regale us with ‘the way we were’ on Thanksgiving, Christmas, birthdays, weddings, all held during the final festive months of the year. Don’t miss this special evening!
History Alive is a free Lecture Series presented by the Lemon Grove Historical Society. Lectures are held at the Lee House Cultural Center on the 1st Thursday of the month. Lee House is located at 3205 Olive St. in the Treganza Heritage Park where there is ample, well-lit parking. History Alive is suitable for ages 16 and over.
While you are at the lecture please consider joining the Lemon Grove Historical Society as a Member. For a few dollars a year you can support your community as well as add to your own personal knowledge of local history. For membership info, follow this link.
